If you have received or subsequently receive a scholarship or other form of financial aid from any source that was not listed on your Financial Aid Award Notification, you are required to report it to the Office of Financial Aid by submitting the information below.
Please submit this information by June 30 or as soon as possible after you receive notification of the scholarship or award.
Outside Scholarship checks can be mailed to the Gettysburg College Office of Financial Aid and should be made payable to “Gettysburg College.”
If the check is made payable to the student (or to both the college and the student), the student should sign the check and mail it to the Gettysburg College Office of Financial Aid.

If Gettysburg College is required to provide information to the scholarship program (enrollment verification, invoice, etc.), please email (finaid@gettysburg.edu) or fax (717-337-8555) a copy of the document that mentions the request.
For scholarships over $500, it is our policy to evenly split the funds between the fall and spring semester (unless otherwise specified by the organization). Outside assistance for financial aid recipients will result in a reduction in the work-study and/or loan after federal need (cost of attendance minus expected family contribution) is met. When the outside assistance exceeds the amount of work-study and/or loan awards, the Gettysburg College Grant must be adjusted. Once an outside scholarship has been added to a student's financial aid award, they will be sent an email to review their updated financial aid award.
