I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University. I completed my internship hours at Wilson College Counseling Center and Big Spring Middle School providing individual counseling and program development. I am a National Certified Counselor working towards licensure.
My approach to counseling is a person-centered approach and I maintain an eclectic style that allows me to adjust to each individual’s needs. I have utilized different modalities, such as, CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, and assessments. I enjoy working with college students since this is a time of self-exploration and identity development while also facing challenging aspects throughout life. I am passionate about grief and loss, coping skills, self-care, advocacy, and suicide prevention.
Outside of my career I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, cooking, gardening, being outdoors, traveling, watching Friends, and all things animals! I am excited to be apart of the Gettysburg Community!
