Drug Convictions and Federal Student Aid

A federal or state drug conviction can disqualify a student for Federal Student Aid funds (including Federal Direct Loans, Federal Work-Study, and Pell Grants).

Ineligibility periods vary based upon whether the conviction was for sale or possession and whether the student had previous offenses.
