Event Overview
The third annual Alumni J-Term will be held Monday, Jan. 26 – Thursday, Jan. 29. Learn more and register by Thursday, Jan. 22.

- Making the Plunge into Adulting: Beginning your Journey Beyond College
- BOLD Council Information Session
- From Glory Days to Golden Years: Overview of Fitness for Life
- A Seasoned Traveler’s Guide to Overseas
- AI at Work: Building the Next Generation of Adaptive Leaders
- Establish and Build Your Professional Brand and Network on LinkedIn
- Coach-Like Leaders: Developing the Skills to Lead Empowering Conversations
- Cocktails and Conversations with the Gettysburg Alumni of Color Council
Proposal Guidelines
Proposals for the 2026 Alumni J-Term are closed. If you would like to present in 2027, please contact Jasmine Fedrick at jfedrick@gettysburg.edu.
We invite proposals for sessions that align with the Alumni J-Term themes and objectives. Proposals should include the following information:
- Title of the session
- Abstract / Description (up to 250 words)
- Learning objectives
- Target audience
- Presenter(s) bio
- Session format (e.g., workshop, panel discussion, presentation)
- Duration (e.g., 30 minutes, 60 minutes)
Session Themes and Objectives
- Career Tips: Sessions designed to help you understand, advance, and build confidence in your current job (such as resume writing, networking).
- Lifelong Learner: Sessions designed to educate you in areas that will benefit your career and personal life (such as leadership, AI in the workplace).
- Living Life: Sessions to help you transition from college student to working adult (such as financial planning, buying a home).
- Young and Fun: Sessions focused on learning and self-investment (such as traveling on a budget, marathon training).
