Award-winning science and nature writer David Quammen will be giving a lecture in celebration of the 150th year since the publication of the Origin of Species.  Quammen's latest book is "The Reluctant Mr. Darwin: An Intimate Portrait of Charles Darwin and the Making of His Theory of Evolution".  He also published books on extinction and on big predators. Quammen's articles have appeared in National Geographic, Harper's, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times Book Review. He wrote a column, called "Natural Acts", for Outside magazine for fifteen years. Quammen is a Yale graduate and former Rhodes Scholar.
