GETTing College Ready

GETTing College Ready is the virtual summer engagement series for new Gettysburg College students. These events, held virtually, are for incoming First-Year students, transfer students, and their families to learn more about the transition to Gettysburg College, ask questions about upcoming deadlines and processes, and get acquainted with the offices, programs, and opportunities that are available to new students. Attending these sessions is one of the best ways to prepare for the transition to college!

Sessions will begin in mid-May and run through early August 2026. Please monitor this page for session information and registration links. Invitations will also be sent via email.

Read your email regularly to stay up to date on to-do items and communications.
The most significant responsibilities a new student has are to complete each phase of the Dashboard and register for courses.
We also encourage students and families to attend our GETTing College Ready sessions.
Lastly, we encourage students to work on building independent living habits (doing laundry, maintaining a daily schedule, getting comfortable making phone calls or sending emails if you have questions, etc.).
